HELP PRESERVE THE LAZARETTO'S LEGACY

Over the centuries, the Philadelphia Lazaretto buildings and site fell into disrepair, their importance to our past forgotten by many. The image above is of the Lazaretto after it was renovated by a historic architecture firm. It now looks as it did for most of its life as a place dedicated to public health. Projects like this, which help restore a major part of our national history, are only possible with public passion and support.

Lazaretto Preservation Association of Tinicum Township

Offers a free self-guided audio tour of the Lazaretto site, a quarantine play for pairs, and access to the building itself. Pandemic restrictions possible.
